Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of service

By engaging Webjala (Private) Limited for software services, web design, identity platform use, or related consultancy, you agree to these terms together with any project quotation, statement of work, or order form that specifically applies to you.

2. Payment terms

2.1 Online payments

Card and other online payments may be processed via providers such as PayHere. You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize charges for the amounts agreed for the services ordered.

2.2 Late payments

We may suspend or limit hosting, maintenance, or other ongoing services if invoices remain unpaid more than 14 days past the due date, until the account is brought current.

3. Intellectual property (IP)

Ownership of custom-developed source code and deliverables is transferred to the client only upon full payment of all outstanding invoices for that work, unless your contract says otherwise. Webjala may retain the right to reuse non-confidential techniques, patterns, and tooling developed in the ordinary course of business.

4. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Webjala (Private) Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (including loss of profit, data, or business interruption) arising from service downtime, third-party API or infrastructure failures, or security incidents, except where caused by our gross negligence or as required by applicable law.

5. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, unless a written agreement with you specifies otherwise.
